Coastal Kayaking and Camping
Half a day will be spent training the participants in the proper use of the touring kayaks. These kayaks are equipped with rudders, spray skirts and storage hatched and will be used to transport the participants from the Marigot Bay Dive Shop via the calm western Caribbean sea along the coast line of St. Lucia (passing two coastal fishing villages - Anse La Raye & Canaries) to the nature heritage site of Anse la Liebrte near Canaries. Following a short hike the participants will arrive at the communal center for briefing and orientation by the St. Lucia National Trust camp site staff. The participants will be dispatched to their tents. The afternoon to evening session will comprise of an informal interactive discussion about the history of the site and St. Lucia spearheaded by the St. Lucia National Trust/Naturalist Society/Forestry Dept. The following day, the participants will hike their way back to the beach for their return kayak trip to Marigot Bay.

This tour comprise of a hike through the island's rain forest. It originates on the eastern Atlantic coast and ends on the western Caribbean coast. Because of the length of this tour the participants will need to camp out in the forest. The primary organizers of this tour will be the Dept. of Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture. It will also include waterfall excursions and lectures about the forna and flora of the forest.

Marigot Bay with its isolated beach, cordoned off mangrove forest and calm turquoise Caribbean water is the perfect hideaway for that client looking to experience a pristine natural setting.
At Marigot Bay you can kayak, snorkel, sun bath, hang out at the bar or go shopping.
Clients who are booked for the Family Water Safari can patronize the snorkeling boat tour (time and boat space available).

This tour is a bus or boat transfer to the dive shop at Castries or Marigot Beach Club where one of our vessels will be used for a private tour along the west coast of the island as far as Soufriere.
Lunch can be served either on the vessel or at one of our contracted restaurants along the coast (e.g. Humming Bird, J J's or Marigot Beach Club restaurants).
Activities offered includes swimming, snorkeling and/or scuba diving (the half day tour offers one dive where as the three quarter day tour offers two dives). This tour includes lunch, beverages, transfers, marine reserve fee and all scuba equipment.
